A British-Nigerian businessman and author, Abraham Great, has said that Nigeria would need a president that is mature and blessed with wealth of experience after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari ends in 2023.
Reacting to a call by the Director-General, Voice of Nigeria, Mr Osita Okechukwu that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) should jettison his presidential ambition by backing a younger candidate from the South, Abraham Great said that while he recognises the right of every Nigerian to aspire to be whatever they want,“the idea of younger candidates may not be the answer to finding the right president.
Every single Nigerian has the sovereign right to be ambitious for the post. Our focus should be electing someone with great aptitude, experience and ability to build a team of our best 11.”
Osita Okechukwu had said that instead of Tinubu contesting the 2023 presidential election, the APC National Leader should use his abundant Almighty God’s endowment to unite the APC, and unite the South and by extension our beloved Nigeria to back a candidate from the Southeast.
