APC offered “Peter Edochie” 50M to endorse Tinubu, he rejected the money at the mention of “Tinubu” and rightly walked out of the meeting.

Pete Edochie said, Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, is too old and too weak to run for president in 2023.
Pete, who aired his view in April, said that “many people like Tinubu are too old and too weak to run for president.
Edochie said, he (Tinubu) has been in power for a long time until he was made the leader of the APC,” stated Mr. Edochie in an interview with BBC Igbò.
“But he should leave the position for those who are younger and healthier. Let’s be honest,” the actor pointed out in response to a question on Mr. Tinubu’s candidacy for the 2023 presidential election.
In the interview, he highlighted his concerns about the political marginalization of Igbòs.
“Igbò, Hausa, and Yorübá are the major ethnic groups in Nigeria. Only once in the history of Nigeria has it emerged that an Igbò person became the head of state in Nigeria,” he lamented.
Mr. Edochie described Igbos as resilient, stressing that Nigeria needs their ingenuity and sound leadership.
He further claimed that the solution to Nigeria’s socio-economic and political crises is an Igbo leader.
Mr. Tinubu has repeatedly asserted being a bona fide candidate for the exalted position, noting that being Nigerian president is not a job that requires physical fitness like bricklaying and grave digging.
“I am the quality that Nigeria is looking for to make this country very great, prosperous and united, not only in Africa but in the world,” Tinubu said.
Meanwhile, Zack Orji declares support for Tinubu, “I know that when he becomes the president of this country, he will turn the economy around for the better.”
Zack Orji became the latest Nigerian celebrity and actor to publicly declare his support for the candidacy of the All Progressives Congress presidential flag bearer, Bola Tinubu.
At the last minute, the famous singer, Brymo, and actors Gentle Jack and Bolanle Ninolowo declared support for Mr. Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
In a two-minute clip posted on social media, Mr. Orji, vice president of the Ambassadors for Voice for Change, said his support for Mr. Tinubu is both experiential and personal.
Like Edochie, Street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, revealed that he was paid to endorse the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Portable had come under fire on social media after declaring support for APC during the Osun State governorship election on his Instagram page.
In the video posted, he asked Nigerians to vote for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
Portable, however, fired back at his critics, saying he was only doing his job, as the ruling party had paid him to support its candidates.
In a new video posted on Wednesday, the Zazuu crooner who said he was once paid to insult Tinubu, revealed that he has changed his tune because he was paid by the APC.
“If they pay you money, you have to work. I was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. That was a long time ago. Now, APC has said Akoi Tinubu.
“If they pay you, do your job, no ripping. When I was asked to insult Tinubu, I collected my money and did my job. Now Tinubu is the next. They’re the ones that gave me money, and I must do the work for the money I collected. Akoi APC,” he said in Yoruba.
Before Portable, Zack others, some Yoruba actors have endorsed the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Tinubu. Jide Kosoko, Adebayo Salami, Oga Bello, Taiwo Hassan, Ogogo, Faithia Williams, Yinka Quadri, and Lanre Hassan, known as Iya Awero.
