The Press Nigeria reports that there was a commotion at Ire Akari Estate Area of Soka, Ibadan, Oyo State, southwest Nigeria, on Monday afternoon, January 29, 2024, as a furniture shop was gutted by fire.
We understands that the fire outbreak in the Ibadan Community reportedly started around 3 pm.
A user on X formerly known as Twitter identified as rosheethat, posted a video of the fire in the Ibadan Community while calling for help.
She posted, “Ire Akari Soka right now. Anybody that can help us.”
Findings revealed that the fire emanated from a furniture shop. As of press time, the cause of the fire is still unknown even as efforts are ongoing by members of the community to prevent the spread of the fire.
