The executive director Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel has paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Kaduna state Nigeria Her Excellency Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe at the Sir. Kashim Ibrahim house Kaduna state Nigeria earlier today.
Audu who is in Kaduna for the film festival’s upcoming press conference was also received by Mary A. Olarerin Special Adviser to the deputy Governor, Programme Monitoring and Evaluation, Hafsatu Aminu Ashiru Private Secretary to the Deputy Governor and Peter Ibrahim Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State on Media and Communication.
The visit was to discuss and brief Her Excellency about the upcoming 7th Kaduna international film festival scheduled to hold from 27th to 31st August 2024 with the theme “Cinema and Cultural Exchange”
In her response the Deputy Governor appreciated the executive director of Kaduna international film festival for the great work he does for the youth and creatives in Nigeria most especially in Kaduna state, she also highlighted that the government is open to partnerships that will impact the lives of our youth. “Youths in Kaduna always look forward to the Kaduna international film festival and so I will also say I look forward to attending the film festival this year most especially to come celebrate the films and cultural exchange activities the festival has for the year, may this year’s edition be better than last year” she added.
