JUST IN: APC Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Suleiman Muhammed, Dies at 45

In a shocking development, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of its Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Muhammed, at the age of 45.

Reacting to the tragic news, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the party stalwart, describing his passing as a significant blow not only to Kogi East but to the entire APC family in the state.

In a condolence message delivered by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, the Governor paid glowing tribute to the late chairman, highlighting his legacy of peace, humility, and committed leadership.

“The late Hon. Suleiman Muhammed was a man of peace, humility, and one who demonstrated commitment to the service of the state and the APC as a party,” Governor Ododo stated. “He carried the aspirations of his people with dignity; his leadership was widely respected and his contributions deeply valued within and beyond the APC in Kogi East.”

The Governor further lauded the deceased’s role in fostering unity within the party:

“He was instrumental in strengthening party cohesion and promoting inclusive dialogue. His presence in every party engagement brought stability and thoughtful leadership to our consultations in the zone.”

Hon. Suleiman Muhammed, known for his calm temperament and fairness, served as the APC Coordinator in Odu Ward 2 before rising to the position of Zonal Chairman for Kogi East. He was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.

Governor Ododo extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, APC leadership, and members across the state, as well as the people of Dekina Local Government Area and the entire Kogi East Senatorial District.
