Tension swept through parts of Idanre, Ondo State, following reports that a grandchild allegedly set a family house on fire, triggering widespread panic in the community.

The incident, which occurred in the Iyabo Ododo area, sent residents into a frenzy as thick smoke and rising flames engulfed the building, raising fears of a possible spread to nearby structures.

Eyewitnesses said people in the neighborhood rushed to the scene in a desperate effort to contain the fire and prevent it from escalating into a larger disaster.
