The National President of the Remo Secondary School Old Students Association (RSSOSA), Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, has celebrated the National Vice President of the Association’s UK Branch, Mr. Damola Aiyeola, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a God-fearing family man, committed leader and exemplary old student whose years of service have left a lasting impact on students and the development of Remo Secondary School.

In a special birthday message marking the milestone, Aare Emmanuelking described Aiyeola’s six decades of life as a journey defined by faith, family, leadership, purpose and service. He said Aiyeola’s contributions to RSSOSA demonstrate a deep understanding of the responsibility that comes with being an old student of an institution that helped shape one’s life.

The RSSOSA National President particularly commended Aiyeola’s leadership as National Vice President of the Association’s UK Branch, noting that his contribution goes beyond occupying an executive position to actively advancing student welfare and supporting the growth and development of the alma mater.

He highlighted several interventions undertaken by the RSSOSA UK Branch under Aiyeola’s watch, including the renovation of UK-adopted classrooms at Remo Secondary School, donation of learning materials to outstanding students in both the Senior and Junior sections, and support for holiday tutorials for SS3 students.

The tutorial programme was further strengthened through the donation of textbooks and sanitary pads to students, providing support for both their academic development and personal welfare.

Aare Emmanuelking described the initiatives as tangible expressions of the responsibility old students owe to the institution that gave them a foundation in life.

He said Aiyeola’s leadership exemplifies the importance of alumni leaders who understand that holding office is ultimately about service, responsibility and giving back.

According to him, the story of the RSSOSA UK Branch under Aiyeola’s leadership demonstrates how old students can transform their affection for their alma mater into practical interventions that improve the lives of current students.

As Aiyeola marks his diamond jubilee, Aare Emmanuelking prayed that God would continue to strengthen and preserve him, while granting him wisdom, divine health, protection, prosperity and renewed strength for greater responsibilities.

He also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Aiyeola’s family and asked that the celebrant’s years ahead be more fruitful and impactful, with greater opportunities to contribute to the advancement of RSSOSA, its UK Branch and Remo Secondary School.

The RSSOSA National President congratulated Aiyeola on the landmark birthday and wished him many more years of purposeful living, distinguished service and fulfilment.
