Prophet Israel Oladele Unveils Plans for 2026 Luli Prayer Conference, Calls for Celestial Unity

Prophet Israel Oladele of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Genesis Global International Parish, has unveiled plans for the 2026 Luli Prayer Conference, with a strong call for peace, unity and divine intervention for Nigeria.

Oladele, popularly known as Prophet Genesis, made the disclosure during a media briefing in Lagos, where he explained the significance of the annual Luli celebration and called on members of the Celestial Church of Christ worldwide to close ranks and preserve the spiritual heritage of the church.

The 2026 Luli Prayer Conference is scheduled to hold on September 29 at Genesis Global City, Alakuko, Lagos, as part of activities commemorating the founding of the Celestial Church of Christ worldwide.

According to the cleric, the gathering will provide an opportunity for Celestials across the globe to come together in prayer, thanksgiving and reflection, while seeking divine intervention for Nigeria and the world.

He said this year’s programme would place particular emphasis on prayers for peace, stability and progress in Nigeria, especially as the country moves towards another election season.

Oladele stressed that the church has a responsibility to continually pray for the nation, noting that the Luli conference would go beyond celebration and festivities to become an avenue for collective spiritual intercession.

The prophet also used the occasion to make a passionate appeal for unity among members of the Celestial Church of Christ.

He urged Celestials to look beyond differences among branches and individuals and recognise the common spiritual heritage that binds the worldwide Celestial family together.

Oladele emphasised the historical significance of the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, Reverend Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshofa, saying his legacy should remain a rallying point for members of the church.

He maintained that differences within the church should not be allowed to overshadow the foundation upon which the Celestial movement was established.

According to him, Celestials, irrespective of their locations, branches or individual differences, share a common spiritual heritage and should work towards preserving the legacy handed down by the founder.

2027 Luli Conference to Mark 80 Years of Celestial Church

Looking ahead, Prophet Genesis disclosed that next year’s Luli Prayer Conference would coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Celestial Church of Christ, describing the planned celebration as an event that would be “explosive” across the world.

He said extensive preparations would be made to commemorate the milestone and provide Celestials globally with an opportunity to celebrate their heritage, strengthen their bonds and reflect on the church’s journey since its establishment.

The cleric reiterated that unity remained critical to preserving the identity and spiritual heritage of the Celestial Church of Christ.

He said the legacy of Reverend Oshofa should continue to serve as a unifying force for the church and its members worldwide.

The September 29 Luli Prayer Conference is expected to attract members of the Celestial Church of Christ, Christians and non-Christians to a gathering focused on prayer, thanksgiving, unity, peace and the wellbeing of Nigeria.
