Governor Sanwoolu Celebrates Evangelist Ebenezer Obey As He Clocks 80

The Executive Governor of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu has taken time out to celebrate one of the living legends in the Nigerian music space in the person of Evangelist Ebenezer Obey as he clocks 80 years old today.

Governor Sanwoolu who is a great fan of the legendary Evangelist and songwriter paid glowing tributes to the veteran musician, the one people often called ‘Baba Commander’. In his Instagram post dedicated to Baba Commander Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, Governor Sanwoolu said ”On behalf of my dear wife Ibijoke, and the good people of Lagos State, I join your family, friends, associates, and fans to congratulate you Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, on the occasion of your 80th birthday celebration. You are an elder statesman, an apostle of God, a music maestro whose songs cut across generations and are accepted globally, an evangelist, and a man who has used music as a tool to spread joy across our country, and indeed the world. We thank God for His grace upon your life and that of your family. Here is wishing you the very best on your 80th birthday, as we continue to ask God to grant you good health, peace of mind, long life, and renewal of body, mind, and spirit. Amen”.
