I’ve been out of there since 2015, to the glory of God, I haven’t skipped a meal or suffered anything, but what of these teeming young people out of job? In the period that I have been out , we have given jobs to almost 20, and training/empowerment for over 300 people.
Besides, I have a RANKING STATUS ADVANTAGE, that any newcomer (APC/PDP) CANNOT!
I am sure you are aware that I served in National Assembly for four years as Chief of Staff, that comes with huge benefits, so it’s combined opportunities that a newcomer cannot bring to the table from inauguration day.
Two weeks after inauguration I am handing over 20 employment letters to my constituents, if it were a newcomer, he ll still be finding his way to his office!
These are the REAL ISSUES , STOP TALKING ABOUT PARTY, let’s see this election from the perspective of what we can deliver to our people , that’s the most important issue here. That’s what I think we should amplify , it’s not a Bimbo and a newcomer tussle, neither an APC/ SDP tussle, its more of possibilities and opportunities to the people in quick turn around time.
If I had returned , Ekiti most likely would have her own Military base now as I pushed for under General Ihejirika, Hon Betara and I pushed for such establishments in our states/constituencies, he returned and today Nigeria Army University or something like that is in Biu, where is the one for Ekiti?
I will revive that from two months, a newcomer cannot, he would be learning the house rules within that period!
So my dear people, these are REAL ISSUES.
PLEASE, I’ll urge you to look at the bigger picture, that our people refused to see.
If it’s about the people , well, no fears , but if it’s about partisanship and lousy politics, walahi I don’t care if that’s what the people want; nah here we dey!!
