A magistrates’ court in Kano, Kano State, has ordered a man, Ibrahim Dan Asabe, challenging the paternity of a boy to accept him as his son after a DNA test proved that he is the biological father.

Earlier, the mother of the boy, Naja’atu Abdulkarim Jamo, approached the court in Kofar Kudu seeking an order for the establishment of a DNA test conducted on her estranged husband to determine the child’s paternity.
