The Press Nigeria (TPN) reports that the governor of Edo state, Monday Okphebolo sparked a dramatic moment when he approached the Edo state house of assembly to present the state’s budget.
As it is the practice, Governors are expected to read some parts of the budget that includes figures to spend in the following year and like others, Monday Okphebolo did but it ended up in a funny way.
While the governor proceeded to read and wanted to mention the figures, he had issues with accurately pronouncing them.
He went over the figures about three times before confessing ‘It is confusing me”.
This sparked laughter in the house as lawmakers who are not used to this form of drama couldn’t help but express their feelings through laughter.
