Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Kazeem Adeniji (SAN), a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State, on his recent appointment as the President of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Worldwide.
Adeniji was unanimously elected during the society’s triennial delegates conference held in Abeokuta, Ogun State — a development Governor Sanwo-Olu described as “well-deserved.”
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, the Governor commended Adeniji’s longstanding commitment to the propagation of Islamic values and his dedicated service to the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society.
“On behalf of my family and the Government of Lagos State, I congratulate Mr. Kazeem Adeniji (SAN) on his emergence as President of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Worldwide,” Sanwo-Olu said. “His appointment is a reflection of his unwavering dedication to the society and the Islamic faith.”
Sanwo-Olu also highlighted Adeniji’s distinguished service during his tenure as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice from 2015 to 2019, expressing confidence that he would bring the same excellence and vision to his new role.
“I am confident that Mr. Adeniji will lead the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society with integrity and wisdom, further advancing the organisation’s mission and contributing positively to society at large,” the Governor added.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also extended his best wishes to the newly constituted executive team of the society, urging them to work collectively for the growth of the organisation and the betterment of humanity.
