‘Vote Don’t Fight’, Comedienne Helen Paul Begs Nigerians

Foremost academic and entertainer, Prof Helen Paul, has begged Nigerians to eschew all forms of violence, as the country prepares for her general elections in February.

 

Prof. Helen, who is an ambassador of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is using art as a tool to spread her message nationwide.

The Art for Peace election awareness campaign is themed ‘Vote don’t fight. Your vote counts,” and is being promoted in different states of the federation.

A post on her verified Instagram page, @itshelenpaul indicated that the campaign is aimed at promoting peace and unity, irrespective of political, ethnic and religious differences among Nigerians.

The accompanying message on her post reads: “keep your PVC well,” “vote for your preferred candidate,” “vote don’t fight please,” “sell no vote,” “your vote counts” and “Nigeria will be great again.”

Also lending his voice to the campaign is actor Oriyomi Joseph.
