Badoo Shines, Happy Boy Wins Big at Thrilling GOtv Boxing Night 33
It was a night of explosive action and emerging stars at GOtv Boxing Night 33, held at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Super bantamweight fighter, Sodiq ‘Happy Boy’ Adeleke, stole the spotlight by winning the N1 million Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy for Best Boxer. Adeleke dazzled fans with a dominant third-round technical knockout against Muideen Abiodun in their national challenge bout.
In the headline event, teenage sensation Raheem “Badoo” Animashaun continued his meteoric rise, defeating Jean Coffi of Benin Republic with a third-round knockout to notch his 15th consecutive professional victory. Badoo, who is also a law undergraduate, boldly called out contenders in his weight class to challenge him for the West African Boxing Union (WABU) super flyweight title.
