Jose Mourinho Touted To Manage Brazil Following Tite’s Resignation

AS Roma Head Coach, Jose Mourinho has been touted as one of the frontrunners to manage the Brazilian National Team following the exit of the Samba Boys at the hands of Croatia at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

Brazil lost to Croatia on penalties over the weekend and not long after the manager of the team, Tite left his role after a six-year stint at the helm.

The Brazilian National Team were pre-tournament favorites to win the World Cup as they unarguably paraded the best-attacking lineup at the Mundial with the likes of Richarlison, Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Rodrygo, and Anthony but they eventually lost to Croatia on penalties.

According to a report on La Gazetta Dello Sport, Roma’s Head Coach is one of the coaches being considered to lead the Selecao. it is left to be seen if the Portuguese Manager would be willing to leave his role at the Italian Capital Club.

Other names being linked to the role are Luis Enrique and Abel Ferreira.
