LAUTECH Alumni Announce April 17 Convocation Lecture and Awards Dinner
The Global Alumni Association of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, is thrilled to announce its 2025 Alumni Convocation Lecture and Dinner, scheduled for Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the university’s iconic Great Hall.
With the theme “Celebrating Excellence and Integrity in Service to Humanity”, this landmark event is designed to inspire fresh graduates, foster ethical leadership, and celebrate outstanding alumni who continue to make the university proud across the globe.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Global President of the Alumni Association, Engr. Olalekan Badmus, emphasized the significance of the gathering, calling it “a platform for reflection, mentorship, and vision-sharing.”
“This is more than a celebration,” said Engr. Badmus. “It is a defining moment for our newest graduates to connect with accomplished professionals, gain real-world insights, and chart a purposeful path beyond the campus gates.”
The Convocation Lecture will spotlight key topics such as ethical leadership, innovation, personal development, and the power of integrity in nation-building. A carefully selected panel of industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and technocrats will speak at the event, offering valuable life lessons and professional guidance to the next generation of LAUTECH trailblazers.
The evening Dinner & Awards Ceremony will feature a vibrant atmosphere of connection and recognition—honoring notable alumni whose impact and accomplishments reflect the values LAUTECH stands for.
Since its founding in 1990, LAUTECH has grown into one of Nigeria’s foremost citadels of learning, producing exceptional graduates in fields such as engineering, medicine, ICT, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and public service.
