Sanwo-Olu Hails Oba Elegushi’s Impactful Reign on 15th Coronation Anniversary
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on the celebration of his 15th coronation anniversary.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Oba Elegushi’s reign for fostering peace, growth, and development in the kingdom, highlighting his contributions to making the area a thriving hub for real estate, entertainment, leisure, and hospitality.
The governor said:
“On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, and family, the government, and the good people of Lagos State, I congratulate the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his 15th coronation anniversary.”
Describing the monarch as visionary and selfless, Sanwo-Olu commended his exemplary leadership and commitment to community service, noting that Oba Elegushi’s efforts have elevated Ikate-Elegushi’s status within Lagos State.
He added:
“The people of Ikate-Elegushi are fortunate to have a devoted and caring leader who has played a pivotal role in the community’s advancement. His contributions as a member of the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs have also strengthened the relationship between the government and grassroots communities.”
As Oba Elegushi marks this significant milestone, Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed for his continued good health, wisdom, and prosperity, wishing him many more years of impactful leadership.
