The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has agreed a new sponsorship partnership with German sportswear giant Adidas worth $8.5 million annually, following the expiration of its existing kit deal with Nike.

Under the new agreement, Adidas will provide $4.5 million in annual cash payments, while a further $4 million will be delivered in equipment, kits and other sporting apparel for Nigeria’s national teams.

The deal is expected to cover the Super Eagles and other national teams, providing Nigeria with a new technical partner as the country continues preparations for major international competitions.

The agreement also represents a significant commercial opportunity for the NFF, with the federation set to benefit from both direct financial support and the provision of technical and training equipment.

The partnership with Adidas marks Nigeria’s return to the German sportswear company after previous associations between both parties.
